About the Instructor

Mr. David Denoncourt has been in the truss industry for 40 years. He started designing roof and floor trusses in 1985, and later became the plant manager for Steenbeke & Sons for over 30 years through three different owners. He was one of the founding members of the New England chapter of WTCA (Wood Truss Council of America, now called SBCA – Structural Building Components Association). David became president of the Chapter and chapter representative on the board of directors of WTCA traveling to quarterly meetings across the USA. He was part of the committee that created the BCSI-03 (Building Component Safety Information booklet – 2003) and his name appears in the acknowledgements of that document – even now, 22 years later.
